mission of the Division of Comprehensive Health Services is to protect, promote, and preserve the health
of Miami-Dade County Public Schools' students through the following
endeavors: |
- Focused
vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings.
- Medication
Administration trainings.
- Immunization
evaluations and consultations.
- The
reduction of communicable disease through surveillance, reporting,
educating, and training.
- Linking
students and school site employees with health resources in the
community.
